Trung tâm Quốc tế Daejeon của thành phố Deajeon đặt tại trường đại học Pai Chai - Hàn Quốc chuyển đến trường ĐHSP TP.HCM chương trình Diễn đàn toàn cầu dành cho sinh viên đại học tại Deajeon (Global Daejeon Forum for College Students). Cụ thể như sau:
1. Chi tiết chương trình
- Thời gian: từ ngày 17/9 đến ngày 19/9/2014
- Số lượng sinh viên trường ĐHSP TP.HCM được tham gia: 01
- Địa điểm: Hội trường Nghệ thuật, Đại học Pai Chai – Hàn Quốc
- Ngôn ngữ sử dụng: tiếng Anh
- Nội dung: Thảo luận về làn sóng văn hóa Hàn Quốc và thế giới của thế hệ trẻ (The Korean Wave of Popular Culture and the World Young People)
- Kinh phí: sinh viên được hỗ trợ vé máy bay khứ hồi, chi phí ăn ở trong thời gian tham gia diễn đàn. Lệ phí visa, bảo hiểm (nếu cần) và các chi phí cá nhân khác do sinh viên tự túc.
2. Điều kiện tham gia chương trình
- Học lực khá giỏi, giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh tốt, có khả năng làm đề tài nghiên cứu nhỏ và thuyết trình.
- Quan tâm đến làn sóng văn hóa Hàn Quốc - Hallyu (K-pop, phim truyền hình, phim điện ảnh).
3. Hình thức, thời gian và lệ phí xét tuyển:
- Hình thức: Phòng Hợp tác Quốc tế Đại học Sư Phạm TP.HCM tổng hợp hồ sơ dự tuyển, chấm vòng sơ khảo và tổ chức phỏng vấn bằng tiếng Anh để chọn ra 1 sinh viên tham gia chương trình.
- Hạn chót nộp hồ sơ: 29/2/2014.
- Lệ phí: 200.000đ/hồ sơ.
Lưu ý: Sau khi được chọn, phòng HTQT sẽ tìm 01 chuyên gia Hàn Quốc làm người hướng dẫn cho sinh viên để làm bài nghiên cứu và viết báo cáo tham gia diễn đàn.
4. Hồ sơ xét tuyển
-Sinh viên đủ điều kiện và quan tâm đến chương trình sẽ nộp hồ sơ về phòng Hợp tác Quốc tế. Hồ sơ gồm:
a) Bảng điểm học tập tính đến học kì gần nhất,
b) Bản đề cương tóm tắt về Làn sóng Văn hóa Hàn Quốc (khoảng 500 từ - viết bằng tiếng Anh, hướng dẫn viết bài báo cáo xin vui lòng xem thông báo tiếng Anh đính kèm)
c) Giấy chứng nhận sinh viên,
d) Văn bằng, giấy chứng nhận về trình độ tiếng Anh (Bằng TOEFL, IELTS, hoặc TOEIC,….)
e) Photo Passport (có thể nộp bổ sung trước ngày 20/3/2014)
f) 02 ảnh 4x6cm (khổ làm passport),
g) Giấy chứng nhận sức khỏe,
h) Các giấy chứng nhận tham gia các hoạt động phong trào (nếu có).

▫ Background:
The Korean wave, known as “Hallyu” in Korean, refers to the transnational
propagation of Korean popular(K-pop) culture, such as pop music, TV dramas, and
movies. Recently the K-pop wave has been reaching out the remote corners
of the world along with the remarkable development in information technology and
online media. Especially the K-pop is gaining tremendous popularity among the
youngsters around the world. The 1st Global Daejeon Forum for College Students
was organized to exchange ideas of the young people from all over the world
regarding the K-pop wave in their own countries.
▫ Contents of interest may include but not limited to:
1) For whom from the country where the K-pop culture is popular:
- Period and incident that the K-Pop culture was introduced and the reason of
popularity in that country.
- Popular type or types of the K-pop culture, such as K-pop, K-drama and
K-movie, in that country by introducing appropriate examples.
- Impacts of the K-pop culture on the people and culture in that country.
- Suggestions for continuation of the K-pop wave for promoting the cultural
exchanges and future contribution to the world community.
2) For whom from the country where the K-pop culture is not yet popular:
- The reason why the K-pop culture is not attractive to the people in that country.
- Comparison of the K-pop culture and the pop culture of their own country in
terms of similarity and differences
- Suggestions for promotion of the K-pop culture in that country
- Suggestions for continuation of the K-pop wave for promoting the cultural
exchanges and future contribution to the world community.
▢ Speakers and Discussants
▫Speakers will be the undergraduate students from eight countries.
Research for presentation should be performed under the supervision of an advisor
from their own university. Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes.
All foreign speakers will receive ‘2014 Global Daejeon Scholarship’ of which
benefits are providing the cost of round-trip airfare and accommodation
for the forum period.
▫Discussants will be the undergraduate students from eight local universities in
Daejeon, Korea. Each discussion will be allowed within 5 minutes.
▢ Submission of Presentation Material
▫Speakers are invited to prepare an abstract not longer than 500 words in English
or in Korean based on the template attached to this Announcement. The deadline for
abstract submissions is March 31, 2014.
▫The final oral presentation material, not exceeding 15 pages in Power Point, and
the summary manuscript, up to 5 pages in word file, should be submitted within
July 31, 2014.
▫The forum proceeding will be distributed at the Forum.
▫Speakers and advisors should meet the deadlines strictly for submission of
the presentation material to the General Manager of Daejeon International Center
